Puddle Town lies in Somerset's gentle countryside, three kilometres from Crewkerne via local roads off the A30. Most journeys are short local trips between villages, though the A303 brings longer-distance traffic through the area. The village's name comes from the historic livestock ponds that still dot the surrounding lanes.
