Presley lies in Moray's sheltered coastal plain, easily reached via the A96 between Forres and Elgin. Most visitors arrive on whisky tours exploring nearby Speyside distilleries, whilst locals commute daily to Forres or Inverness. The village name derives from "priest's meadow," harking back to medieval religious settlements that once dotted this fertile agricultural region.
