Poundisford is a small Somerset village in the hills outside Taunton, reached via the A358 and country lanes through Trull. The M5 Junction 25 provides motorway access about 15 kilometres away, with over 60 EV charging points around Taunton. The village's name comes from a medieval pound where stray animals were held until owners paid fines.
