Portrush perches on the Causeway Coast, connected by the A2 coastal route that runs east to Giant's Causeway and west toward Derry. The A26 south through Ballymena gets you to Belfast in about 96 kilometers, while Dublin sits 262 kilometers away via the M1. There's no rail service, so you'll need a car to get about. The town's claim to fame is Barry's Amusements, a proper old-school funfair that's been entertaining families since 1926 with its vintage rides and the eternal smell of candy floss drifting off the seafront.
