Portnablagh sits along Sheephaven Bay on Donegal's Wild Atlantic Way, connected to Letterkenny by the R245 about 35 kilometers east. The village makes a handy base for the championship golf courses at Rosapenna and Dunfanaghy, plus water sports on the bay.
