Portlooe

England
Portlooe perches on Cornwall's south coast where the River Looe meets the sea, forming part of the historic twin towns connected by a medieval bridge. Reach it via the A38 from Plymouth then A387, or take the scenic B3253 coastal route from Polperro. The narrow harbour streets can be tricky to navigate, but there are plenty of EV charging points nearby. You can still watch fishing boats being hauled up the beach on traditional wooden rollers.
