Ponsonby is a small Cumbrian village on the A595 between Whitehaven and Barrow-in-Furness. It's 15km from the M6 via Junction 36 and the A590, making it a convenient stop for those exploring the western Lakes. The village offers good access to both coastal paths and inland fells, with around 18 EV charging points nearby. Ancient packhorse bridges cross the River Calder just two kilometres away.
