Polyphant is a small Cornish village near Launceston, reached via the A388 from the A30. The area's rolling countryside and mild climate make it typical of inland east Cornwall. About 25 fast charging points serve electric vehicles in the surrounding area. The village is famous for Polyphant stone, a distinctive green serpentine rock quarried locally for centuries and used in regional church construction.
