Pollokshields is a Victorian suburb on Glasgow's south side, reached via the A77 Pollokshaws Road from the city centre or Junction 1 of the M77 for longer journeys. The area features elegant sandstone terraces and tree-lined streets, developed as a planned residential district in the late 1800s. Over 350 EV charging points serve the wider south Glasgow area. The railway station retains its original 1886 Victorian canopy and ornate ironwork.
