Polin

Polin occupies Scotland's remote northwest coast in Sutherland, where ancient rock meets the Atlantic. Most visitors drive the A99 to Thurso, then the A836 and A838 through increasingly wild Highland terrain—about four hours from Inverness. The area has roughly three EV charging points, essential for such remote driving. The settlement forms part of a scattered coastal community near Sandwood Bay, where 3-billion-year-old Lewisian gneiss creates some of Britain's most ancient visible bedrock.
