Polhampton lies in north Hampshire's chalk downland, 2km from Overton on the A339. Most visitors arrive via M3 Junction 7, then north on the A339, or from the A303 via local roads through Whitchurch. The village sits near Lasham Airfield, one of Britain's premier gliding centres, and several crystal-clear chalk streams still flow through local watercress farms.
