Polbeth is a small West Lothian village between West Calder and Livingston, reached via the A71 from Edinburgh (25km) or the M8/A71 from Glasgow. It serves mainly as a commuter base for Edinburgh and Glasgow workers, with around 90 EV charging points nearby. The village sits close to the Pentland Hills, where old cattle drove roads still cross the moorland.
