Plumpton Wall is a small Cumbrian village in the Eden Valley, 6km southwest of Penrith. Reach it via the A6 from M6 Junction 40, or directly from Carlisle on the A6. The settlement sits between Lake District fells and Pennine hills, surrounded by characteristic stone-walled fields. Around 16 EV charging points are available nearby. The village name comes from ancient Roman road remnants, with original stone boundary walls still visible in local fields.
