Plumpton Rocks lies just off the A59 between Harrogate and Knaresborough, easily reached via Junction 47 of the A1(M) or the A661 from Harrogate center. The 18th-century estate features spectacular millstone grit outcrops rising 30 feet above a serpentine lake, creating one of Yorkshire's most romantic landscape gardens with its ivy-covered Gothic folly.
