Perth straddles the River Tay in central Scotland, perfectly positioned as a gateway to the Highlands via the A9 trunk road. The M90 from Edinburgh and routes from Glasgow via the A9 make it easily accessible, whilst the A85 heads west toward the scenic lochs. With over 30 fast charging points dotted about, it's well-equipped for electric vehicles. The city's working 18th-century waterwheel at Lower City Mills still grinds oatmeal using water power from the Town Lade.
