Perceton is a small North Ayrshire community 3km from Irvine, reached via the A71 and local roads. Glasgow lies 50km northeast via the A77, with Glasgow Prestwick Airport nearby. The area has over 60 EV charging points and sits on the flat Ayrshire coastal plain. The name comes from Gaelic "Baile Phearcadain," meaning Fearchar's settlement.
