Pentre-llyn lies along the A485 in rural Ceredigion, eight kilometres south of Aberystwyth. This small Welsh community sits where the coastal plain meets the Cambrian foothills, accessible via the main A485 corridor or local roads from neighbouring villages like Llanilar. The name means "village by the lake," referring to a historic natural pool surrounded by centuries-old oak trees.
