Penley lies just east of Wrexham along the A525, a small village in the Welsh borderlands. The A525 provides direct links to Chester and Whitchurch, whilst nearby routes connect to Oswestry and Crewe. Electric vehicle charging is well-covered with over 40 fast chargers in the area. The village houses Coleg Cambria's agricultural campus, where students have trained in farming and countryside skills on the same working land since the 1960s.
