Penhole is a small Cornish hamlet near the Devon border, reached via country lanes from the A388. Most traffic comes from nearby Launceston, 8km northeast, though longer journeys typically use the A30 then head north. The area has over 20 EV charging points nearby. The name derives from old Cornish, meaning a small enclosed field.
