Pendine's seven-mile beach on the Carmarthenshire coast draws visitors for its dramatic Atlantic setting and motoring history. The village sits where the Taf estuary meets Carmarthen Bay, easily reached via the A40 from Carmarthen then A4066 through Laugharne. Malcolm Campbell set world land speed records here on the firm sand during the 1920s.
