Peel Park lies in South Lanarkshire, part of Greater Glasgow's sprawling suburbs. The M74 provides the main route from Glasgow city centre, whilst the A726 connects through East Kilbride. Most traffic arrives via local roads from nearby Hairmyres or through Rutherglen on the A749. Electric vehicle drivers will find over 300 fast charging points across the area. The district preserves remnants of medieval Peel towers that once fortified this border region.
