Peaslake is a small Surrey Hills village about 6 miles southeast of Guildford, reached via the A25 and country lanes through Shere. Popular with mountain bikers and walkers, it sits among pine forests with limited parking that fills quickly at weekends. The village is famous for nearby Holmbury Hill, which rises to 857 feet and features an Iron Age hill fort with excellent views across Surrey.
