Peasemore sits among the chalk downs of West Berkshire, reached via country lanes from the A34 at Chieveley or through Hermitage from the A4. The village connects to Leckhampstead and East Ilsley along narrow roads between hedgerows, whilst longer routes use the M4 junction 13. The medieval church of St Bartholomew houses a remarkable wall painting of the Weighing of Souls, uncovered during 1960s restoration work.
