Patrickswell

Ireland

Ireland

Patrickswell is a small County Limerick town about 15 kilometers southwest of Limerick city, connected by the R518 road that continues on to Adare. From Dublin, take the M7 southwest for 200 kilometers, then local roads through Limerick, while Cork visitors can use the N20 north for roughly 100 kilometers. Shannon Airport is 25 kilometers northwest, handy for international visitors. The area draws golfers to courses like Adare Golf and Castletroy Golf, with about 90 public fast charging stations for electric vehicles. The town gets its name from a holy well that Saint Patrick supposedly blessed during his 5th-century travels through Munster.
