Parteen is a small County Clare village on the Shannon River, serving mainly as a gateway to Limerick, which lies just 15 kilometers southeast via the N18. The village sits where the river widens, offering lovely waterfront views. Most visitors arrive on the N18 from Limerick or use the R463 from the north through Clare countryside. It's a handy stop for those traveling between Cork and Galway on the M18 motorway. The area has about 80 EV fast chargers, mostly along the Limerick corridor. The village's standout feature is its weir spanning the Shannon, creating a dramatic white water cascade visible from the center.
