Parkham is a small North Devon village reached via country lanes off the A39 Atlantic Highway near Horns Cross. Most visitors come from Bideford, 8km southeast, or use the A39 for longer journeys to Barnstaple and beyond. Electric vehicle drivers will find about 30 fast chargers in the wider area, mainly in Bideford and near Royal Marines Base Chivenor. The 13th-century church of St. James houses a magnificent medieval rood screen.
