Packington is a small Leicestershire village near Ashby-de-la-Zouch, reached via the A511 from the M42. It's popular with commuters using local routes to nearby towns and benefits from good airport access via East Midlands Airport. The village has evolved from its coal mining heritage and sits within the National Forest area, with the original Victorian school building from 1878 still standing as a residential conversion.
