Outer Hope is a clifftop village near Salcombe, reached via the A381 from Totnes or A379 from Kingsbridge. The final approach involves narrow Devon lanes requiring careful driving. Popular with Coast Path walkers and day-trippers visiting nearby Hope Cove, it offers dramatic views across Bigbury Bay to Burgh Island, which can be reached on foot at low tide.
