Otterspool occupies Liverpool's southern waterfront along the Mersey Estuary, easily reached via the A561 from the city center or M57 Junction 3 from further afield. The area serves both daily commuters using Riverside Drive and long-distance visitors arriving via the M62 or M56 motorways. Liverpool John Lennon Airport lies 8km southeast, whilst over 500 EV charging points operate across the broader network. The two-kilometer Otterspool Promenade features a dedicated cycle path forming part of National Cycle Route 56 to Chester.
