Oscroft is a small Cheshire village on the A54 between Chester and Northwich, about 10 kilometres east of Chester. The area sits on gently rolling farmland typical of the Cheshire Plain, with country lanes connecting to neighbouring villages like Tarvin and Kelsall. Access to major routes comes via Chester's ring road to the M53, M56, and A55. The Victorian church of St. Mark, built in 1878 from distinctive red sandstone, serves as a local landmark visible across the surrounding countryside.
