Ordhead lies in rural Aberdeenshire, about 30 minutes west of Aberdeen via the A944 through Westhill and Sauchen. The village sits amongst gentle hills typical of this part of Scotland's northeast, with good access from the A93 Banchory route as well. Over 20 fast EV charging points serve the area. The old granite schoolhouse still dominates the village center with its Victorian bell tower intact.
