Oola

Ireland

Ireland

Oola is a handy village on the N24 between Limerick City and Waterford, about 25 kilometres southeast of Limerick. It's perfectly placed for anyone travelling between Ireland's southwest and southeast, with good connections from Cork via Mitchelstown and Cahir, or from Dublin down the M7 then onto the N24. There's decent electric vehicle charging around the area with 13 fast stations nearby. The real gem here is the railway station on the Dublin-Cork line, a lovely Victorian stone building with original bargeboards and ironwork that's worth a look.
