Onesacre

Onesacre perches on the hills northwest of Sheffield where suburbia meets the Peak District edge. The quickest route from the city center runs 8km via the A61 through Hillsborough and Oughtibridge, climbing steadily through increasingly rural terrain. From the M1 Junction 35, head toward Stocksbridge then turn south through Worrall. Stone markers from old packhorse routes between Sheffield and the Pennine mills remain embedded in village garden walls.
