Oldhamstocks is a small East Lothian village nestled in the countryside between the A1 and the Lammermuir Hills, about 45 kilometers southeast of Edinburgh. Most visitors arrive via the A1107 from the main A1 trunk road near Cockburnspath. The village boasts a remarkable 12th-century church containing one of Scotland's rare surviving medieval wooden effigies.
