Oldeamere lies in the Cambridgeshire Fens along the A141 between Peterborough and March. Most visitors take the A47 from Peterborough, whilst the A605 offers an alternative from the A14. Local routes serve nearby fenland villages like Whittlesey and Coates. The Victorian pumping station still operates its original steam machinery to drain the surrounding farmland.
