Obbe sits at the southern tip of Harris in the Outer Hebrides, reached via the A859 from Leverburgh's ferry terminal just a kilometre away. This small settlement serves as a base for exploring South Harris, with the main road continuing north through dramatic Highland scenery to Tarbert and Stornoway. The harbour retains stone pier walls from Lord Leverhulme's failed early 20th-century fishing development scheme.
