Nutts Corner lies along the A26 Antrim Road, about 20 kilometers northwest of Belfast in County Antrim's farming country. The A26 provides the main route from Belfast via Templepatrick, whilst the M2 offers quicker access from the city center. It's conveniently placed just seven kilometers from Belfast International Airport, making it a useful waypoint for travellers. The settlement's unusual name derives from the Nutt family, early Protestant planters who settled at this crossroads during the 17th century.
