Nun Appleton is a small North Yorkshire village 15km southwest of York, reached via the A162 from either York (20 minutes) or Leeds via the A1(M) and A63 (45 minutes). The village sits on flat agricultural land between the Ouse and Wharfe rivers, with over 100 EV charging points nearby. It's home to Nun Appleton Hall, a 17th-century mansion built on a former Cistercian nunnery site where poet Andrew Marvell once worked as tutor.
