Norwell is a quiet Nottinghamshire village on the A1133, eight kilometres north of Newark-on-Trent in the flat Trent Valley farmland. The A46 provides the main southern approach via Newark, whilst local lanes connect neighbouring villages like Cromwell and Caunton.
