Northdown lies on Kent's coast near Margate, easily reached via the M2 and A299 Thanet Way from London. The A28 connects to Canterbury whilst the coastal A254 links Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate. St. Augustine's 12th-century church features exceptional Norman stonework, including a carved tympanum showing Christ in majesty above the south door.
