Ningwood lies in the Isle of Wight's western countryside, surrounded by typical downland farming country. Access requires the Lymington-Yarmouth or Portsmouth-Fishbourne ferries, then the A3054 from Newport or B3401 from Yarmouth. With over 70 EV charging points across the western parishes, the area's well-equipped for electric vehicles. Ningwood Common remains a Site of Special Scientific Interest, famous for its spectacular August heather displays.
