Nimmer lies in the Somerset countryside near the Devon border, connected to the A303 trunk road about 15 kilometres north. The area offers pleasant drives through traditional villages like Clayhanger and Wadeford, with over 50 EV charging points nearby. The parish church houses a remarkably preserved 13th-century stone rood screen, one of the few to survive the Reformation.
