Newick is a small East Sussex village just off the A272, the main east-west route through the area. Most visitors arrive via this road or the A275 from Lewes, about 15km south. The village sits in rolling Weald countryside between the South Downs and Ashdown Forest, with over 300 EV charging points in the wider area. Newick Park, an 18th-century country house turned luxury hotel, still hosts village cricket matches on its historic pitch.
