The town serves the surrounding settlements of Croval, Scarwell and nearby villages, all within easy driving distance across Mainland's rolling farmland. With around a dozen fast EV chargers locally, it's well-placed for exploring the area's remarkable concentration of Neolithic sites, including the nearby Ring of Brodgar stone circle.
