Newcestown is a quiet village in County Cork, about 35 kilometres southwest of Cork city along the Bandon River valley. You'll reach it via the R586 from Bandon or through country roads from Clonakilty in about 20 minutes. The drive from Cork takes 45 minutes on the N71 through Innishannon. Electric vehicle charging is available in nearby Bandon and Clonakilty. The village's standout feature is its three-storey stone corn mill beside the river, a fine example of the area's farming past.
