Newbliss

Newbliss is a handy stop on the N2 between Dublin and Derry, about two hours from the capital through Ardee and Carrickmacross. The town sits among Monaghan's drumlin country, with its characteristic small lakes and rolling hills. It's well connected by the R188 to Monaghan town, just 15 kilometers away, and the R189 from Cootehill. There are about 15 fast charging stations for electric cars, making it popular with long-distance travelers. The 1842 stone courthouse still dominates the main street with its Georgian facade, visible from the approach roads.
