Nettlestone is a quiet coastal village on the Isle of Wight's eastern shore, reached via ferry from Portsmouth or Southampton then the B3330 from Ryde. The area benefits from the island's mild maritime climate and sits close to Seaview's sailing community. Bembridge Airport, one of southern England's last grass airfields, hosts regular vintage aircraft gatherings just outside the village.
