Netherwitton is a Northumbrian village reached via the A697 from Morpeth, about 20 kilometres northwest. Most visitors come from Newcastle (30km) or locally from Morpeth and the Wansbeck towns through pleasant countryside roads. The area has around 30 EV charging points nearby. The village church of St. Giles houses medieval wall paintings uncovered in the 1980s.
