Needham is a small Suffolk market town near the Norfolk border, surrounded by gentle farmland. The A143 provides the main east-west connection to Diss and Bury St Edmunds, whilst the B1134 links north to Harleston. From Norwich, take the A140 south then local roads for about 30 kilometres. The parish church of St Peter houses a magnificent 14th-century rood screen with original painted saint panels.
