Naburn lies 4km south of York along the A19, a riverside village that's become a popular cycling destination and commuter route. The A19 provides the main access from York center, while long-distance visitors typically approach via the A64 from Leeds or the A1(M) junction 45. With over 80 EV charging points around York and flat valley roads year-round, it's an easy drive through Yorkshire's river country. The village's 1757 lock remains one of the Ouse's last manually operated gates.
